Daryl Hall, who has taken fans inside his home for the critically acclaimed, nationally televised web series Live from Darylís House, is now ready to take his show on the road. The award-winning program, which recently marked its 50th episode, is set for a seven-city U.S. tour, the Live from Darylís House Nu-Soul Revue Featuring Daryl Hall and the LFDH Band with special guests (and former show participants) neo-soul stars Sharon Jones plus Allen Stone.

The tour gets underway April 11 at Montclair, NJís Wellmont Theater, with stops in Boston (4/12, House of Blues), Atlantic City (4/14, Music Box Borgata), Minneapolis (4/18, Orpheum), Washington, DC (4/20, Warner Theater) and wrapping up at N.Y.ís historic Beacon Theatre (4/21).

The show will feature Daryl and his band performing alongside Sharon Jones and newcomer Allen Stone, who is appearing on the current edition of Live from Darylís House, which premiered at www.lfdh.com on April 15.  In addition, Philly-chef Tony Luke, who has also appeared on the program, will be the host of a video cooking segment on how to prepare his world-famous cheesesteak.

Sharon Jones, who first appeared on Live from Darylís House in Sept. 2010, has made a name for herself with four independently released albums with her Dap-Kings band, including I Learned the Hard Way, recorded at their House of Soul Studios, which debuted at #15 on the Billboard charts when it was released on their own Daptone label. The Boston Globe raved that Jones ďsings of hard times, infidelity, and other life lessons with total authority.Ē Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kingsí cover of Woody Guthrieís ďThis Land Is Your LandĒ was featured in the opening credits of the Oscar-nominated movie Up in the Air, and included on the soundtrack album.

Sharon had the time of her life during the sessions. ďDoing the show was such an honor and a thrill to be at Darylís house and to get to make music, relax and have a good time. Everyone should visit.Ē

Seattle native Allen Stone made his Live from Darylís House debut on the February installment of the series. He went from playing backwoods barbecues and community gatherings to selling out venues across the country, with a national TV appearance on Conan. He released his self-titled sophomore record in October on his own stickystones label. The disc climbed the iTunes R&B/soul charts, peaking at #2, hitting #29 and #62 on Billboardís Heatseekers and R&B/Hip-Hop Album charts.

"What is there to say about Daryl Hall?Ē commented the 24-year-old. ďThe man is a legend. Getting the opportunity to be invited to sing with him was such an honor. I was overwhelmed at the experience to hang out with someone who has been so influential on my own career."
